Email forwarding in Cpanel

Forwarding an email account in Cpanel is a very straightforward task and can be done in a matter of a few minutes with the following steps:

1.) login to your site’s Cpanel accounts
2.) Click on the Forwarders link in the Mail Tab
3.) Click on the add forwarder link
4.) Enter in the email address you would like to have mail forwarded FROM in the box
5.) Enter in the email address you would like to have mail forwarded TO in the second box
6.) Click Add forwarder

**If you would like to forward email to an address that is not on your server (for example ____@gmail.com or ____@hotmail.com) and not have a copy of the message left on your server all you need to do is add an email forwarder and DO NOT add the acctual email account on your server. What this will do is forward any mail sent to ____@yourdomain.com to a different email address and then discard the message. This is very useful if you do not want the messages accumulating on your server**
