The St. Louis Post-Dispatch is the region's major daily newspaper. The papers website is stltoday.com. Founded by Joseph Pulitzer in the 1800s, the paper was owned by Pulitzer, Inc. until 2005, when the company was acquired by Lee Enterprises.
